Backend Settings of the Extension

Creating Roles with Advanced Permissions
To create a new sub-admin role with advanced permissions please navigate to Admin panel > System > Permissions > User Roles. Then, hit the Add New Role button. So, firstly the role has to be created in the order it to be assigned to the users.

Role Information and Resources
Here under role information section, click on Role Info and specify the role name. Provide current user password for identity verification and hit save the role.

Now, switch to Role Resources, change role resource access to custom and specify the resources this role will have access to. Then, click on save role.

Next click on Role Users, then, you can assign this role to certain users. Click the Role Users tab and flag the required users.

Setting Advanced Permissions
With the extension, you can set up advanced permissions to provide or limit access for your store managers to certain parts of the admin panel.

Advanced Scope

In this tab, you can limit access to certain store views or websites.

Associate to Website
This gives an option to specify the required website and store views.

Store Views
Here the store related to the website selected at the above option will be auto selected and it cannot be further changed

For the above-selected website and store views options admin can limit user role access to the following parts of your store:

  • Orders;
  • Invoices and Transactions;
  • Shipments;
  • Credit Memos;
  • Catalog Products;
  • Catalog Price Rule;
  • Cart Price Rule;
  • CMS Pages;
  • CMS Blocks;
  • Category.

Select either Yes or No options. If Yes it will limit the access of the user roles created to view only the details (orders, invoices, transactions, etc..) related to his website. If No than User Role can view all the details (orders, invoices, transactions, etc..) of all the website admin is associated with.
