On the admin panel ,Navigate to Sales->Products->Products->Create new products.
Enter product name ,type ,category,sale price, set unit =hours ,etc..
In the “Sales ” tab under service invoicing policy select “Timesheet on task ” Under service tracking field select create a task in saleorder’s project & Save it
Step 2 – Create the Sale Order
On the admin panel,Navigate to Sales->Orders ->Quotations->Create ->Enter the customer name and add created products (invoice on timesheet) in order line .
Add product quantity and Save the entry & confirm the order.
Step 3 – Check Project info
On admin panel,Navigate to Projects->Projects->Edit Project
Check project info and budget hours and project name which is automatically fill from sale order
Check timesheet and billable field selected as true & Save the entry
Step 4 – Add Timesheet Entries
On admin panel,Navigate to Projects->Projects->Edit Project
Click on the hours recorded context button.
Fill the timesheet entries for it.
Step 4 – Check project hours actual vs budget graph view
On admin panel,Navigate to Projects->Reporting->Open Project hours actual vs budget report
Check the bar graph between actual hours vs budget hours.
Step 5 – Check project hours actual vs budget list view
On admin panel,Navigate to Projects->Reporting->Open Project hours actual vs budget report
Check the list view of the report.
Step 6 – Check project hours actual vs budget pivot view
On admin panel,Navigate to Projects->Reporting->Open Project hours actual vs budget report
Check the Pivot view of report ->Check actual hours and budget hours value
Step 7 – Download report in excel format.
On admin panel,Navigate to Projects->Reporting->Open Project hours actual vs budget report Pivot view
Click on download xlsx button and get the report in excel format
