We can understand the work process of the extension with the below-given example.
Let’s Suppose we create a color attribute. In this color attribute, we create various options like blue, white and black. We created products and assigned the color variant. Now a customer has placed an order with 5 products
a. Product A belongs to White
b. Product B belongs to Blue
c. Product C belongs to Blue
d. Product D belongs to Black
e. Product E did not have any variant
In this case, our order will be split into 4 different orders:
a. Order 1 having products of blue color, i.e Product B and C
b. Order 2 having the product of white color, i.e Product A
c. Order 3 having the product of black color, i..e Product D
d. Order 4 will be of none of the color, i.e Product E.
Note 1: Split Order on Checkout Pro works with all payment methods.
Note 2: Extension works well with all product types and shipping methods.
